Oh boy.

I'm going to be posting a lot of Maralla photos.

This is the bushland that's local to us (and it's the one that'll cause us to evacuate if it ever goes up in flames, which...it does sometimes).

Maralla is something special, and I haven't felt this way about a tract of bushland for a long time.

Easily some of the most pristine bushland I've ever had the pleasure of walking in. We see kangaroos (at the least) every time.

I dashed this off today for someone on Facebook and I don't want to forget it, currently it's just in a blank word document which means I certainly will forget it if I don't put it down somewhere.

Incidentally, does anyone want to be on my pagan/wildspeak/witchy filter if I start using it again?

Kimberley Sandstone

Kimberley Sandstone is about 1800 million years old, it carries profound connections to the energies of fire and lava. It carries so much history within it that makes it specifically great for ancestral work and honouring ancestors, as well as connecting with the land and landscape around you (particularly in Western Australia).

There's some affinity to rainforest energy, and the extremes of landscape - between fire and wet, rainforest and desert. Kimberley sandstone specifically can be used in households where there's a lot of 'oil meets water' type energy, and carrying it with you can make it easier to have harmonious meetings with people, especially handy in tense situations (like parent/teacher meetings, or when talking with friends that kick up quickly).

Strong affinity with the root, sacral and solar plexus chakras. Pairs well and naturally with many quartzes.
