[Art] Thought I'd put these up and actually hadn't, weird.

So I have been arting a bit more than usual this year (still less than I used to, but I've been really enjoying it, which I think is the main thing).

Here's some from a little while back. The Red Dragon was a birthday gift, the bilby was because I really don't think the Australian bilby gets nearly enough love - strange rabbit-like marsupial that it is. And the eagle owl because I just really like owls? I find them easy subjects, and they always look so fierce. :D (When they don't look derpy).

As always, all in fineliner on illustration board, with watercolour / watercolour pencil / coloured pencil / and some metallic paint highlights.

[Art] BW of Unicorn Moon-Sickle: Courtship, and Fiji Iguana and Dandelions.

Here are some larger pieces that are yet to be coloured. One is a commission (I'm not officially taking on commissions at all, esp. not re: domesticated animals/pets/figurative stuff, but she is a long-time client and very patient with me, and she always gives me the most interesting subjects that ping me hard, in this case, a Fiji Iguana - and dandelions, heh. The dandelions are sentimental, she is a zookeeper/zoologist, and the Fiji Iguana she cared for used to love them). The other is a return to an old subject that I first/last drew in 2008. The Unicorn Moon-Sickle Bird of Paradise. I'd always loved the colour scheme and wanted to return to the faux birds of paradise again. So...I just did.

All done with 0.1 and 0.5 fineliner on illustration board.
