Anyway, an illustration for an upcoming exhibition (Natcon 50's Future Imperfect), in which I will be exploring an imperfect future where augmented animals are used for human profit.

In this, elephants are genetically engineered to be both massive, and to take advantage of their ability to uproot and take down trees. They are fed on some of the foliage of the fallen trees, cost little to 'fuel' in comparison to proportionately sized machinery, and desire the destruction of trees to the point where the run into new areas to deforest with little hesitation and even outright enthusiasm.
