Today I read two m/m romance books. One by Lisa Henry which I enjoyed, but was...difficult in places (The Preacher's Son), and one which I categorically *didn't* enjoy, despite it winning a Goodread's Readers' Choice Award (which I'm not going to talk about publically, but good god).

I also went to Bunnings, got a sausage sizzle (hell yeah) and got some plants for the gardens. A Kunzea and in the black death spot of the garden (which has so far killed a Calytrix and a Hibbertia), I put a Hakea. They're *meant* to be hardy, but that one tiny patch of garden kills everything. No matter what I do.

Watched some His Dark Materials with Glen, as well as more 3-Gatsu No Lion which I love and is the second time watching for me.

Now, onto clouds.

It was like someone started cleaning the sky and got bored halfway through and left a bunch of cloud streaks behind.

I love the tiny textures in cirrocumulus.

Fairy floss

Houses for scale.

The sky was so bright and pink. I've included the messy back of the garden (since cleaned up actually) for contrast. Sometimes it's just Like This when the clouds go off and my camera is like 'fUCK that's not REAL IS IT.'

More fairy floss

Goodnight everyone. :)

when we had the cottage on Lake Ontario - which my parents bought when I was 14 and sold it...I guess..10 years ago, I would go out onto the beach and lie on my back and stare at the sky for hours. Clouds and all things celestial fascinate me.

We had to sell it, Mom got Lyme disease up there and it was supposed to be mine, but it's 1.5 hours away and I don't drive- and most certainly couldn't afford the taxes. But I have great memories.

Gorgeous!

We had some nice skies around here today but nothing this spectacular.

Those are some beautiful clouds. I miss taking the time to look at that kind of thing!
