Today Glen and I went bushwalking, on a lovely Makuru (Noongar winter) day, and perhaps one day I will put photos up from that excursion.

But for now we persist with the last of the UK photos. There isn't that much more to go now, I promise and I apologise. I knew for myself that if I never got these photos up, they'd go into the huge folder archive I had and I'd forget about this entire experience.

Coati

Grasshoppers

Green peahen and vulture

Tbh I loved this peahen. Everyone walked past, just about, but it had an attitude and it was very curious.

I have a thing for Procyonids and I love Coatis in particular. Also the Indian Vulture. (It's really hard to explain to people who only think of vultures as nasty carrion eaters, that they're actually intelligent and full of character, and the tame ones I've met have all had very pleasant personalities. I greatly esteem their biological function and how uniquely suited they are to it, but I also just really like them though I don't necessarily care for birds generally.)
