I nearly didn't make it to the RBGE (Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh) due to my health. I had to stop multiple times on the walk there and we needed to get a taxi back. Additionally, unlike say, Kings Park, it's gated and there's only one official entry and exit, across opposite sides of the park, which means basically that you end up really suffering if you need to get out and don't necessarily have the energy to do so.
But this was still one of the most beautiful places I went and I'm so glad I did. I had no idea of the scope of the park, and the greenhouses were so amazing they will get their own posts. It was like paradise, and for a short while, I was energised despite being so sore.

At one point I was on my own, overheated, exhausted, I think I was a bit teary, and then this fellow came to visit.

Green flowers are nice.

I think I'd like something like this, when I die.

These small flowers were part of a really large shrub and I loved them.
