[Photos] Nature - Maralla Bushland

So we have been exploring local bushland pretty regularly lately,
there is a strip of Bush Forever
which is considered pretty pristine.

The Maralla Bushland has a lot of secrets still,
but we're getting to know it. :)

We went pretty late this day. I didn't get a photo, but we saw a wild Bandicoot. And while I don't have a photo of the Bandicoot, I have a photo of the stately Banksia tree where we saw it.

The largest goddamned sheoak/Casuarina I've seen in my entire life. I called her Grandmother Sheoak. She has a nest at the top that probably belongs to raptors or ravens.

It's such different woodland to our own which is ancient hillside oak forest.

It's so beautiful. The sky and the moon stole the show from the trees in this set, and that's not an easy task. :)

The negative space in that first photo is SO GOOD. It's like lightning made of trees.

Those are some beautiful photos! I’ll see similarities to vegetation near me, and then something completely different. Love it.
