In the past, I have found reptiles very difficult to photograph.
But honestly I just seemed to get lucky,
again and again this time.
I don't know why.
So many were awake. So many were posing.

A dugite yawned and it looked like a tiny enthusiastic scream...

Omg right? The dugite was SO cute I was like 'omg you're so sweet you could kill me in minutes but STILL CUTE.'

The Forest Dragon is amazing. They're all amazing (I also really love the scattered spotting on the Dugite), but the subtle colours and the horns on the Forest Dragon are particularly remarkable.

That Boy'd Forest Dragon was incredible, the scale variation and also how well it camouflaged despite looking *so* distinctive. I was standing next to a family who kept staring and staring and couldn't see it (even though it was smack in the middle of the exhibit) and when I pointed it out, the father burst into delighted laughter.
