Anyway! Not yet coloured, ink on illustration board (0.1 and 0.5 size only), this was a good way to spend a day where I couldn't find the will to write, but could apparently find the will to illustrate this instead o.o

This is spectacular as it is, uncoloured. There's something very classic in how you've drawn the flowers, and I love the expressiveness of the ravens' eyes.

I'm loving that sort of more oldschool natural history illustration feel, and although I'm pretty heavy with my linework, I've spent a lot of the past two years studying those botanical illustrations and I think it's knocking off into my style heh.

It took a few hours on a Sunday, because I was determined to get it all done on the same day. The ravens were actually pretty fast, it was the flowers and the dots in the petals that took the longest. *scowls at them*

Alright, I'm definitely going to have to visit DW more often so I don't miss out on beauties like this. Wow! I really (really!) enjoy the way you draw flowers, too.
