[Photos] Garden macros.

All of these are taken with my iPhone. And all of them have been taken in the garden. As a child I always stared in fixation and obsession at tiny things, absorbed by the small things in life. And getting a macro lens for my iPhone has been a part of rediscovering what I love about the world around me.

The beautiful leaves of an Adenanthos cuneatus. The tiny blossoms of these (not pictured here) attract the most lovely metallic blue wasps.

I don't have a phone, I have an ipod touch (which has a camera), but I've been looking into it and they have them that fit on the ipod touch (this gen and the next one) too! I'm hoping to buy one in the spring after tax return time :)

The macro lends a very interesting perspective. I particularly like the last photo -- you can see how drought resistant the plants are with those waxy, hairy blossoms.
