[Photos] Karri forest.

Not the greatest photos of the Boranup forest, for which I apologise. My iPhone wasn't up for the challenge, and my energy levels weren't really either. So not as many photos of this area, even though it's one of my favourite little spaces in the whole world. It's just...very magical, and doing quite well given the fires that went through it a few years ago.

Me too. As soon as there's a forest. I want to be in it. :D

Magical indeed! It is very interesting to see the regrowth in all its' complexity.

It's bounced back a lot. A lot of people don't know that it's actually a plantation forest, because it was deforested a while back (maybe 80 years ago?) - it's recovered very nicely, but the karri trees - barring a few here and there - are all quite young. That's why there's such a disparity between some of the tree trunks. Most are quite slender, and every now and then there'll be a mature one.

Also, the amount of treeffiti, my goodness. D:
