[Photos] Meelup Beach / Bunker Bay

We mostly go to Meelup Beach and Bunker Bay whenever we head down south primarily because Glen really loves Bunker Bay (and I really love Sugarloaf Rock). These places are in Dunsborough, and it's amazing how much more populated Dunsborough has become over the past ten years. Not that it's a bad thing necessarily, I'm glad the area is enjoying greater commerce and doing quite well. Plus these places are still quite 'remote' overall.

The water is gorgeous but I particularly like that photo of the stormy sky famed by the trees. It's somehow particularly evocative, as is the last.

Yeah, I always like Bunker Bay best when it's a bit gloomy/stormy (then again, whenever we go, it never seems to be entirely blue skies anyway). Also those trees are so windswept, they're incredible. And really only three metres away from the ocean (but a little above the worst of the waves).
