I get really excited about going to the zoo.
Like, stupid excited.
But yesterday I was like...
only mildly excited because I've been in a fair amount of chronic pain lately,
and it's a new kind that I'm having to get used to.
Still, animals help.

The Glossy Ibis are glorious, but the breast feathers on the Green pygmy goose are also beautiful.

Ohhhh your photography is always so stunning, but the light on the feathers in these shots, and the framing, and the focus and... *babbles on happily*

Also, something about the sleepy lemur shot just touched me. I feel that way a lot.

Sleepy lemur, it was so hard to get that photo because it was like - max on my zoom lens and he was so far away that I embarrassingly needed like 30 shots to get that one. So I'm so glad you like it! <3
