Generally taken from roads,
as always.
All photos taken on the iPhone.
I've pretty much made the switch,
because it's so much more convenient.

Wait this isn't a landscape! How did these get in here!

Oh that's right, I was in Leederville.

Oh well, it counts.

You're heading into Autumn now of course- do you get the same wonderful light we get here at that season?

Mmm. I love the tree shots. I have been deciduous-deprived for nearly eight months. Leaves, canopy, leaf shadow... Thank you! :)

I'm more aware of the starkness of Perth sometimes, I think that's one massive difference in my experience of there and here.

The very earliest trees have *just* started budding where I live. I was actually down south for field work, and of course they're almost two weeks ahead in terms of season, and still most of the trees are bare. There are still massive skiffs of snow everywhere in the sheltered spots too, and the snow pack in the high country is at least 3-5 m deep. So spring is just starting for us now... though I had to deal with my lawn (and the dandelions) earlier this week. In compensation everything I planted last spring seems to have survived. I am particularly looking forward to the maturation of Russian Almond though it is far too young to bloom this year.
