[Photography] Moet and Maybe 2013 Part I

Life conspired against me last year, and
subsequently I was still taking a lot of photos
(mostly on my iPhone actually, for convenience)
but I wasn't processing them or putting them up.
But everything is processed now, and so...
I'm catching up on some old journalling habits.


Get a cat today! Convenient remote control holder!






Maybe's favourite place is generally on or near my breasts.





Don't worry, no threat of the dryer accidentally coming on (it's broken anyway).





Moet does this all the time and I have no words for how fucking cute it is, because he looks so happy every time he does it, and he can do it for hours, just rolling around, like a long cream-orange torpedo.





When he tucks his paws under like that he slays me, and I think he knows it.





And then he generally lets me pat him under his tucked in paws.





Cardboard makes everything better.









I MEAN SERIOUSLY





I have less shots of Maybe oddly. When I get my DSLR out, Maybe gets all the photos. But when it's my iPhone, I'm usually focusing on Moet. I think it's because Maybe often approaches when it's actually quite dark in the room, and I'm usually lying or sitting down and like...oh hell I have no idea why.









Moet...I want to study.





Moet frequently watches TV. His all time favourites are animal documentaries, but recently he's developed a liking for television drama. (Glen was really sick here).









The thing about Moet is that once he's settled for the night (or day), you can generally put all sorts of things on him. He's likely to sleep better with a pillow on him. And he really doesn't give a shit about remote controllers. Or phones. He's always loved lying *on* stuff, so I guess he doesn't mind stuff lying on *him.*





Random Maybe.





We call him the 'long orange jellybean.'





And here you can see Moet gracefully faceplanting the cushion in sleep.





Maybe lying on my chest. Fairly typical night shenanigans for her.

When they do this, I just want to curl up with them. Sometimes I do.

Happy contented cats have been delightful to see. Thank you for sharing them! (Really, it's been a rough couple of days/nights. The cats make me feel better.)

I'm glad they're helping <3 - and yeah, those two and the dryer! When it's working we keep the door firmly closed, and they don't use it often anyway. But when they do, they're normally in very very high spirits and basically use the whole house as a obstacle course for playing, lol.

My cat does the cute front paw thing too. Except with the hind paws as well; she's totally on her back, like some chibi bean. ._.

It's hard to resist petting cat's tummies and chests in that position.

MOET AND MAYBE!

I didn't even realize how much I'd missed seeing pictures of them until this showed up on my list and I got SO excited. :) They're gorgeous as always.

I lost my kitty four months ago, and somehow seeing your beautiful boy and girl reminds me that there are still wonderful kitties in the world, even though it doesn't make me miss my Ziggy boy any less.
