Lately I've been getting into macro photography. I got an Olloclip for my iPhone, and all of these photos are taken with the iPhone. I've mostly been hunting around in the garden, having a good time.
You're welcome, :) Most of them are taken of a passionfruit vine in flower, it was a good subject. The flowers are so intricate, with so many textures.
Do you get BBC Wildlife Magazine over there? I think it would be worth submitting some of these to their photography competition. There is usually something interesting in that.
We probably do, but I doubt any of this would be good enough for their competitions! Plus it's on the iPhone, so I'm not sure it'd be a high enough resolution.
I'm using a very tiny attachment lens called an Olloclip, and it comes with two macro lenses. I've always wanted better macro lenses for my DSLR, but they cost...you know, generally over $1000 at the very least, and sometimes a great deal more. Whereas an Olloclip comes with like... a fish-eye lens, a wide-angle lens, and two macro lenses and is about $100. So I saved up and snagged it. :) The only catch is you can't wear it with any protective casing, so I have to remove my Otterbox every time I use it.
Looove macro photography myself... never thought you could take such good photos with your iphone. what the heck is an Olloclip? An app? Or something you add to your phone so that you can take such photos?

Which is to say, these are beautiful and I had no idea an iPhone could do such nice macros.
Edit: Also that second photo is just lovely, the soft colors and the lines of it make me very happy.
