14,0000000 photos of Bakewell later...heh.
Meanwhile, my mouth is killing me today.
I've been diagnosed with temporo-mandibular jaw disorder,
and I have gone straight from diagnosis to having quite a shitty version of it.
Don't wish it (or PTSD for that matter) on anyone.
Have some photos instead.

I really liked this doorknocker.

Glen and Michael. This photo makes me laugh. We were in the lavender tearooms, and it was cold and humid outside, and there was so much stratus around that as soon as I got into a warm environment, my camera fogged up. So I ended up taking this rather romantic looking photo, which I think is gorgeous, because those two bond so closely over comics. Heh.

Lights in the lavender teahouse. I had a badass hot chocolate here.

This was in a little Austrian cafe that served like, what felt like rather authentic varieties of Austrian sausage. It was on the second storey of this pokey little place and it was tiny, about five tables squished into this space filled with little ornaments of all kinds.

Hedgerows were less common in Bakewell, stone walls were the way to go.

The outside of where we stayed in Bakewell (Brew House). The place itself was an old beer brewery from hundreds of years ago, that was then renovated into a famous artist's home, and then renovated again into a place for people to stay. It was amazing. But really weirdly designed, you definitely got the sense that it didn't start out as a living space.

The view from where we were staying in Bakewell.

This random defunct watermill was being stored in a carpark. A carpark.

I love that door knocker too!

I also just appreciate your tremendous sense of care with all of these pictures. The framing is gorgeous. (Also, I could just stare at those green rolling hills forever...)

Gorgeous photos! I am particularly charmed by the door knocker as well, and would like something similar for my house were it possible. :D

Your photos are so gorgeous! The first one (oh, beautiful color) and the last one, with all that light -- they, especially, speak to me.
