because I ended up having a breakdown in the morning,
because of thorny family reasons.
But in the end I went, and I was glad.
This was the only place I'd asked if we could go to.
Apologies for some repeat photos, I was using my camera and my phone here, and in the end I didn't want to cut any. I should add that the conditions were terrible, some of the highest winds I've ever been in, in my life (and that's saying something given where I live). Only a week before, a woman had tragically passed away from a section of the cliff falling on her, and so the beach itself was closed off completely.
On the way there.
Pulling into the carpark. They don't think they'll be able to preserve these buildings. (Due to chalk cliff erosion and how close they are to the edge of the cliffs - which is very).

At this point it was afternoon and I was not well. But this was - and the Seven Sisters - was how I spent the last day of 2013!
And then I went home and slept for a thousand years, lol.
