A carvery is like a buffet roast dinner, essentially. You get the choice of three cuts of meat (pork or beef, gammon - ham, and turkey or chicken) and then you can get potatoes and roast vegetables and gravy and you can pretty much have as many vegetables as you like. Oh and yorkshire puddings.
The first one I went to I didn't love (which is where the above photo was taken), but I went to one in Scunthorpe that was AMAZE.
