Gotta be honest, this is more of a 'quick I need somewhere to put stuff, so I'll shove it here,' corner.
So there's art supplies for the future that haven't been packed up yet,
there's cuts of illustration board that haven't been drawn on yet.
There's a lot of books that I've read,
and a couple I haven't (really looking forward to Television Dramatic Dialogue, which also looks critically at how the television drama genre has actually shaped the way we speak to each other and expect interpersonal dialogue to happen in *real life* as well.)
There's a beanie baby from like...12 years ago.
Spare bubblewrap for packaging large images, a CD storage thingie,
two paperblanks journals (one for information on animal guides,
and another for... *checks* oh, it's a journal.)

I hadn't heard of Television Dramatic Dialogue but it sounds very interesting, so I"ll be looking for that.

Have you read The Life of Pi? If so, what did you think of it? (And pardon me please, I seem to have something thrashing around in my memory that we might have discussed it previously? If so, I apologize for my appalling recall.)

I haven't read it yet. I know you mentioned that it's depiction of tiger behaviour was laughable (and I can readily believe that), but it's something on my 'to read list.' But currently I'm reading Zoobiquity which is non-fiction, addressing the similarities in illnesses between animals and the human animal, and why - including things like social stigma and hierarchy bias - vets and human medical doctors don't share their knowledge more often.

I'm going through a bit of a non-fiction phase at the moment. I'm currently reading a pop-science book (though one I like) out loud to Glen about animal behaviour and animal communication (Bats Sing and Mice Giggle). Oh, and a CSIRO book on Bowerbirds. That's pretty cool too. :) I didn't realise the Great Bowerbird had a pink nuchal crest, and it's really quite pretty, for all that it is very rarely seen.

Oh, and my book on Television Dramatic Dialogue, I'll be reading that at some point.
