This is Maybe looking tiny, earlier today. Actually waiting for attention (she got some, she gets some if she waits instead of jumping all over me while I'm on the computer). How so much devilry and general mayhem fits inside that tiny body, I'll never know...

The little points on her ears are clearly like truncated devil horns or something.

I love that last picture! It's like her white part is glowing. And those eyes are so gorgeous. :D

Her little white part is called a 'locket,' which I've always thought was just so nifty. It's only part of her skin which is pink too, the rest is dark.

I think "extravaganza" is an appropriate word for multiple pictures of cats, even if it's only nine. But then again, that's how cats are.

And I always love seeing pictures of your cats. :D

I adore the yawn sequence, but I also envy you for the light in your house that lets you take gorgeous photos of cats' eyes.

Ah, the light in our house is actually a poor design feature - it means we get about 5 hours of direct, relentless afternoon *summer* sunlight (not winter!) - I can't think of anything worse for someone with Summer SAD (or for keeping cool air in the house!) - so we keep the house closed up all day. But at least I can use it handily for photos! :D

Hehe, yawns are contagious after all! Actually, I believe a study showed that some dogs will yawn if people yawn!

sta nfronte a te!" Heh. And Maybe does look very mischievous in that last photo!

Haha, Moet would make a great musician. Actually, he has this lovely, delightful habit, where he 'telegraphs' a yawn (sometimes up to five or ten minutes beforehand, but usually only a minute), by relaxing his lower jaw just slightly. And Glen and I, if we notice it, will say things like 'he's gonna yawn, he's gonna yawn,' and I'll start in with 'are you going to yawn Moet?' And then we wait excitedly until he does and cheer and go 'YAY!' and then he comes up for pats.

The *weird* idiosyncracies you end up developing with your pets. Heh. I've never described that before, but it always makes us laugh. And it never stops him from yawning.
