Oh, Hathor is absolutely marvelous. I wasn't sure what colour they would be, but the white is *so* striking against the richness of the greens, reds and golds.

And of course, I will always be fond of hedgies. :) <3 It's amazing how well you do all those little spines!

Thank you! I've been introducing more elements into the 'as totems' illustrations (when it seems appropriate), it's been a lot of fun. :D

I love Hathor! Looks so royal and powerful. You have really captured something there. I could stare into their eyes and feel peace all the time.

I am a Taurus, but I'm also a bird who is often anxious and flappy, so I feel that the peaceful grounding nature of the divine Cow is something I could use in my life. But I have been reluctant to follow that path because I'm so afraid to be grounded... but the peace I feel looking at that image is lovely. Thank you for creating this.

Ee, thank you. I get similar feelings from staring / anchoring in the illustration. I hope the client is able to do some great work with it. :)

Yes, another melanistic jaguar! :D A different client, actually, who did want a more opaque black jaguar. The feel of both big cats is quite different to me.

Oh my goodness, what to say about these? You've bowled me over with the magnificence.

First the Hedgehog, which is beyond superlative. I can't get over the colours, and keep getting ensnared in some new combination. :)

Then Ḥwt-Ḥr... I don't even know what to say. *blinks supressed tears* <-- which I admit to on account of mild intoxication. The Goddess of love and beauty and joy indeed. :)

And the jaguar is simply exquisite.

The colours in hedgehog are part of a more complicated colour scheme than I've been asked to use in a long time, it was a pleasure to do, the result is quite rich / complicated in person. :)

I've been lucky with the latest batch of commissions, so enjoyable.

Ooh wow, Hator is especially stunning. This feels like perfection.

(Melanistic Jaguar is very harmonious in its colour scheme, and I like the subtle angles in the lines of the head too.)

Hedgehog, I find suprising. It's almost rainbow-like in fact! I'm oogling at it as though I'm re-discovering the animal under a new lense.
