Well, today, the Red Circle Totems have launched.

I'm doing these in two batches, but it's still a lot of art.
But after this, there shall be a lull in art releases!

These are fantastic! What a very cool project. :D Not surprised that many of them are sold already...

Did you enjoy the project? Do you think you will be doing this collaboration again in the future?

We'll be coming together again early next year, and releasing a new batch which will be 'classic' totems (i.e. all the ones that are popular for a reason!) - we're hoping to do this twice a year, schedules permitting. :D

It's been a ton of fun. Painting the sculptures was almost like an 'art holiday' away from what I do, and Laura's sculptures themselves are just so well made and put together that they're just lovely to paint. The biggest issue has been transit, which is why we can't take custom orders - items bouncing back between hemispheres chews up transit times!

Penguin is my favorite. Something about manta ray strikes a chord in me. :)

Manta ray has been growing on me and I think now it's actually one of my favourites. A really interesting energy to work with.

I am in love with the dugong! I like that you made some of these full-body too. Beautiful work, as always!

I have decided that a lot of oceanic creatures just need to be depicted full-body, it works better. Plus it's been fun to show more of the animal! Yay for leaping penguins!
