[Art] Striped Hyena and African Painted Dog.

I've always wanted to revisit African Painted Dog,
and got a lovely opportunity to do so
with a commissioned pair that are designed to work well together.
It was also lovely illustrating striped hyena,
who I'm sure I've drawn before; but apparently haven't.

Both of these are glorious, and I'm sure the people these are made for will be blown away. I must confess that the intensity of the African Painted Dog makes me laugh. I see that face regularly at home! :D

Heh. Having met African Painted Dogs in person, they are definitely expressive! Which reminds me, I should go back to the zoo sometime soon.

*nods* The brothers at one of our local zoos are so damned adorable. I just want to jump into their enclosure and sleep in a big puppy pile with them...
