I was less concerned with finding out the names of everything I was photographing
than enjoying the experience;
so a lot of these don't come with names.
But I'm hoping that doesn't detract from the experience
too much.

More jellyfish.

View from outside the harbour.

Clownfish. This prompted Putu to say 'what was that movie called again? Finding...Walter?' And Glen laughed, 'Walter? Don't you mean Nemo?' Putu - 'I'm pretty sure I meant Walter.' Me - 'Walter Matthau? I'd like to find myself a Walter Matthau.' And so on it went, until by the end of the night, I don't know if I'll be able to think of Nemo as anything other than Walter.

1) I think those are called eels.

2) Those are jellyfish - but you said that in your caption.

3) I think that's called a boat.

#s 4 - 5) The swimming things are called fish, the non-swimming things are coral. The stuff they are either swimming in or not swimming in is called water.

6) The swimming, hiding things are more fish, the non-swimming thing is sea anemone.

#s 7 - 11) That's more fish and coral.

12) That's just coral and water.

13) The last picture is, once again, fish and coral.

(All joking aside, they are really beautiful shots. You take amazing photos through glass!)

Your pictures are gorgeous! I'm amazed that you managed such good photos through the glass. The moray eels (mosaics?) made me smile. There was a spotted moray in a zoological collection that I tended, who quickly became so tame that he would eat directly from my hand. I was very careful to treat him respectfully, letting him know when I was cleaning, etc. not to startle or alarm him and he quickly became quite tame, such that I didn't have to worry that he might bite me. He'd even come out of his hole and watch me curiously if I was working in the aisle. With the other staff he'd stay carefully under cover. It's not often that you see brains and character in individual fish, but this one definitely had it. :)

If you swim down the creek
And an Eel bite your cheek
That's a Moray...

If you find a big Eel
And it bites and you squeal
That's a Moray!

Thank you for the amazing photo dumps. :D The colours are gorgeous.

(Sorry for the multiple edits in my latest comments, I just got up so my mind is blurry and my writing poor.)
