Also, I love the shape of your face. I rarely see anyone with that kind of 'pear' or 'teardrop' shape and it can look really sweet. I know, I'm a writer not an artist, but I still have the eye for art, not just the hand. I pay close attention to shapes and colors so I can describe my characters accurately, and not have them all look alike in text. So it's great to find a reference image like this that I could show to an illustrator and say, "That shape of face."

I use mineral eyeshadows, and foil them for brightness (wet them like pigment and apply them onto an eyelid which has a layer of primer on it). I'm using two in this one - one by Linnaeus (this brand prides itself on vegan mineral eyeshadows), and the other by My Pretty Zombie.

I've recently started getting into them. Because they're pure pigment, with no talc, they don't make my eyes inflame or agitated. I love them. azhure runs a really awesome blog recommending different ones at The Raven and the Rose, she got me into them. :)

The Bronze Forest is currently with me for safekeeping until it goes to the framers (in two weeks), and then it will be with the owner. Decided to use it to get a picture of myself for my art portfolio. :D

As for the shade, it's made me realise I can go even a bit redder, provided I stick with a blue-based red. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

It's foiled (wet applied) mineral eyeshadow by Linnaeus and My Pretty Zombie. I'm totally addicted to mineral eyeshadows now! A lot of the pigments are dual-toned or metallic or shimmery. So pretty.
