I love that it's not even Parliament House, it's our Bell-Tower (which is a cause of much controversy and disgust amongst Perthians). I love the idea of politicians doing their work in the bell-tower, listening to Japanese disco-pop fusion. :D

That's probably pretty typical of Perth as well. Especially the giant squid called 'Bertie' myth. We're just weird people. Living in the most isolated major city in the world will do that to the residents after a while.

Wait - Bertie is a real (er, well, real myth) thing in Perth, not something the makers of the video made up just for the video?

Back about 150 years ago, there were rumours about giant squid in the Swan River; they don't persist today though, and they weren't named Bertie. Heh. But yeah. It's pretty understandable though. Some of the world's Colossus Squids have washed up on the shores of South-West Australia and Tasmania, they were probably around in greater numbers back then.

Unfortunately no, it's just a cheaply made school/student film, and not a commercial production, so I don't think there is. :(
