The Walrus is still my favorite -- you've really captured the beast. And I'm terribly impressed with the Armadillo -- those scales aren't easy, and you've caught the "look" of the eye. I also really like the "rooty" energy spirals -- very appropriate!
No one's got dibs yet, but I've also flagged him to go for a higher price than the others because of all the stippling; so he'll be going for $90 US. :)
It's the same with birds; no one ever requests the drabber, smaller female. With the exception of raptors and owls, where the female is often more colourful and larger. And probably eclectus parrots.
It depends; but yeah - I do sometimes get specific gender requests. But when I contact a totem energy, I access both genders (for the animals that have them) pretty easily, so I can choose. The one exception is doe (it doesn't come easy); though I've worked with her about three times now.
