Moet and Maybe were sitting at the front door looking at the outside world (since they're not allowed outside, I like to give them as much sunlight and 'smells from outside' as possible). As the sun was back-lighting, I thought it'd make a nice photo.

But then Moet turned and saw me and decided he wanted pats from me instead of sunlight.





And then Maybe wanted to know what was happening. Notice how Moet hasn't stopped looking directly at me? Welcome to Moet's consistent eye-contact. Also, notice how he now has happy tail? I love his happy tail. :)

Heh. I can see the enthusiasm and the greeting in his expression in the first photo, and in the second while he is happy to be approaching you he is also attending to Maybe, probably to make certain he isn't going to be "attacked" from behind. :D

He went back to the sunny window after getting some pats, and then they looked outside for about twenty minutes. 'Twas very cute.

Hee! I love happy-tail. :) There's something really nice about seeing your cat's tail perk into an exclamation mark when they see you!

I love it when the tail goes up. Especially Moet's, because his tail isn't as expressive as Maybe's, generally speaking.
