I've been on the databases for about two hours and I still have no idea. A big problem is that the majority of Western Australian moths aren't identified online; there's too many species and a low (proportionately) number of people to I.D. them. I tentatively think it may be a member of the Gnamptoloma family, but I have no idea. I could be radically wrong on all counts. :/ There's no 'moths of Western Australia' reference books either.
I could probably email an entomologist and find out though?
