There are two stray cats around the estate I live in, which look almost exactly like Maybe and Moet. If I get the chance, I'll take pictures of them and upload them for you.
I love the line of light (from the blinds?) down Moet's head. The photos are really charming, showing both the ease of Maybe and Moet's relationship and also how happy and comfortable they are, but that line of light makes me think if science fiction, too. Laser!cat Moet! :D
Totally spot on! Moet (Moet Chandon) is the name of a globally famous champagne (apparently, I've never had it). My Mum named Moet, and I'm pretty sure there are a ton more cats with champagne colouring with the same name.
Moses is officially a cream tabby. Cream/champagne = same thing. They start off a bit paler as kittens, but otherwise there's not a ton of variation amongst DSH cream tabbies. Long-hair breeds tend to be a bit paler. Either way, melanophilin thanks to the Maltese dilution is the bomb.
