American black vulture, and turkey vulture.

I loved doing this, and loved colouring it too, but this will be the last commission I do for a little while as I'm taking a break to work on my own arting (as shown by the dragon I put up last night).

I'm sittin' here looking at this card, thinking that this would make for a fantastic minor arcana in an animal-based deck. The Deuce of Birds (Air, obviously).

Hm. A suit of birds would connote very differently than a suit of swords. But it would be most excellently Air, I agree.

(Doesn't have the same feel of the Two of Swords, at any rate.)
