There are a few white gallinules (Lord Howe gallinules) in the world, but unfortunately, they only exist in artwork and in the ether, for they are otherwise extinct.

Hehe.. I was like WOW! They look like swamphens! ...Google-fu later and they are swamphens! And we had a whole conversation about these on my journal a while back. :p

Yeah, I wish Lord Howe swamphens / gallinules still existed. :/
