I love how unexpected your color combinations are, especially since they always turn out gorgeously.

The spotted hyena is spectacular. I really like the expressiveness of the face and the muzzle. And of course I'm a blithering idiot in re: Inpu, but what else is new? :D (His eye is particularly mesmerizing.)

I am completely and utterly in love with the spotted hyena. I like the shorter, stubbier muzzle on this one than I remember from the other one you did. It makes me thing of a juvenile for some reason. And the fuchsia and gold coloring in the background is very soothing to me.

The color scheme for the European Badger amuses me, if only because I hadn't expected black and white to overshadow the purples, blues, and yellows of the background. Yes, I apparently have a thing with color schemes.

The River Otters are adorable. I think I may just have found part of [livejournal.com profile] amyrayh's Yule gift. I just have to decide what size print to get...

And the Anubis? *GUH* He stands out in such sharp contrast to the background, as if he's almost alive. He reminds me of a statue I saw at a women's retreat/ranch in San Antonio over a decade ago. That statue was of Bastet, but there's a sense of energy and presence in this piece that reminds me of what I'd felt in that Bastet statue. It's a feeling I haven't felt in a long time. I think I needed that, so thank you very much for that.

Fffffuuuuuuu-

They are all so stunning. I adore the colours on this batch, so much. I wasn't expecting the striking aspect of Anubis, it's incredible. You are a demoness, no prints, blargh! Woe! Angst! ;___;

Wow, Anubis. Intense.

I really like the detail shots, too! Seeing the texture of the metallic paint against the rest of it is really neat.

It's interesting how consistent badger's colors are; I remember getting the feel for purple and green when drawing him too. Do you find that occurs often with repeats? Having the totems request the same or similar colors each time?

re: the green vs. me seeing yellows :: I might have looked at the colors less thoroughly than normal. I do that sometimes when "confronted" with purples. *smirks*

But yeah, that Anubis picture is just gorgeous!

Ooooooh, thank you for sharing the detail! It's neat to get to see the nuts and bolts, as it were. And comparing that hyena to the one that's in the icon set that I see floating around is neat, because it shows how much you have developed between the two--awesome!
