That's an adorable photo, and you can really see how much Maybe has matured by her face as well as her larger size. There was a grey tabby cat who used to do this with my Grandfather. He'd also lie around the back of his neck (i.e. across the shoulders) and ride on his shoulder if he was out walking. Sometimes if he was passing through the garden (or somewhere else with tall plants) the only way to locate him was by the tip of the cat's tail, sticking merrily up in the air for balance. :)
