Finland makes broadband a 'legal right.' - Finland has become the first country in the world to make broadband a legal right for every citizen.

I keep hearing nothing but good things about Finland over the last several years. I guess it's a sign to start moving over there XD

That is so fucking ridiculously awesome!

We suck. Like, we have something like 7 rights granted in our constitution, which includes being compensated fairly if the government takes our property, free speech, but not the right to assembly or to not be discriminated against.

I want a federal bill of rights. Not that Finland necessarily has one either, but we suck. :(

While I think this is awesome, in that I would never want to be without broadband...

I don't see how it's the governments responsibility to provide this. Just my $.02.
