I thought some of you might like to see the picture of the flower in full, instead of just close-ups all the time, so here it is:
Maybe camouflages like woah, in our garden.
Moet on the other hand, doesn't. (He does camouflage very well against our cream/grey sand though).
Here he is, relaxed, rolling around, stretching. He's lost bunches of weight lately (though he'll always have a lot of loose skin around his belly). Kitten playing + dieting has worked wonders. But here he is, essentially minding his own business...
This is Maybe deciding she has to do something about Moet's calm state of mind. The look on his face is priceless.
Maybe's gonna smack a bitch!
Literally, as I started writing this, Maybe came up on my lap and started play-biting my thumb / playing with my hair.
Here she is biting Moet. Surprise, surprise.
I am small, but I shall lay a royal smackdown on you!
The tides are turning though. You can't tell just yet, but they are. Oh yes, they are.
Moet is starting to have enough now.
Moet actually starts fights with Maybe now. He's got such a playful spirit. I witnessed him last night, run up, headbutt Maybe, and run away. And then five seconds later they were at it. At first, Moet just let Maybe chase him. But now he chases. He initiates. They play together. It's really awesome. It's seriously now like they've always known each other.
RAWR.
Moet has this pretty effective fighting technique which just involves 'I've had enough so now I'm going to stand on you with my significant weight.' Maybe fights dirty. She goes for his hind legs as he walks away, which pisses him off. There must be something in the world of cat etiquette which just says 'you do not attack a cat's hind legs as he walks away.' When she scrapes his hind legs with no claws, he still turns around and smacks her one, as if to say 'DON'T DO THAT.'
As I write this, Maybe is staring at me dreamily. Occasionally she reaches a paw so gently up to my face to touch it with her warm paws. It's adorable. She's no longer trying to bite me, which is nice too).
