[Art] I know happiness writes white.

Commission for the wonderful and awesome
perzephone (who also understands knee pain, though not so much anymore thank goodness) of the Woolly Mammoth, Bear and Datura.
Lighter in real life, and more heavily detailed (the mountains *all* have tiny lines or dots or cross-hatching in them, you can't tell from the picture though).
The metallic paint catches on only from certain angles - I really do love metallic paint! - if you look at it straight on, you can't really see it (except as colour), but if you approach from an angle, woot there are bronze and platinum highlights.

Specs: A3 illustrator's board, pencil, watercolour pencil, acrylic (touch ups and highlights mainly), metallic paint. :)

Date: 2007-11-29 11:42 pm (UTC)You should put together a portfolio and contact various pagan and New Age publishers, as well as the pagan/New Age branches of bigger publishers. Not all of 'em are small, and something like would make a spectacular portfolio piece. I know that shipping stuff may be hard, but I think if you have a specific gallery for that sort of think on your website, you can just point them to it. Just since I've met you your work has gotten even better, and I honestly think it's professional enough, and unique enough, to stand out.

I have only worked with metallic special watercolors. They have a most stunning effect, I love what it does for my bland (and somewhat lame lol) attempts at watercolor painting. LOL
It is gorgeous, and I can picture where the metallic paint would be too. :D
