Oh, Pia, that is so beautiful; I love it. It recalls so many favourite artists of mine: Sempé, Bemelmans, Topolski (if he drew more trees) - and in the best way, of course. Oh, I'm quite enchanted.

I understand perfectly what you wrote too. There are just as many things from years ago which I can't equal now as those which I can better. And the sheer joy of creating 'a communication between subject and artist'.

Thank you. I look back on it, and I love the sense of line, curve and 'random colour' that seems to balance it all out I can see. It's something I'd get framed now. It's something that I just dashed off back then! Lol.
