Bateleur Eagle as Totem

The bateleur eagle is a medium-sized eagle found in the savannahs of South Africa. They are one of the well-known snake eagles, famous for their amazing aerobatic abilities from which their tilting of wings while in the air is where the name bateleur (French for ‘tight-rope walker’) probably originates. Adults pair for life, and help to raise the young together. The female, as with many birds of prey, is larger than the male. Bateleur eagles are usually silent, though they may scream or bark when excited.

I like the shiny, but it appears much less than normal?? Or am I supposed to see shiny in the pinkish areas in the middle of the tri-color circles?

There is shiny in the middle of the circles, compare to the flat scan - the pink/red isn't in the flat scan, and that's allll shiny.

Yes, I certainly can't complain compared to the wallop you and Glen have just suffered. What worries me out about mine is that depending on the course of events I may be in an even bigger hole shortly if I'm forced to buy a replacement vehicle, and then there's talk of rolling back our wages... :P Responsibly adulthood: Not all it's cracked up to be! (I keep reminding myself that I'm actually fortunate -- I have the money for the repair, and a downpayment. I would just like to pay down *more* (or all, ideally, had my previous dog's vet bills not cleaned out my savings two years ago). I don't regret caring for him properly in his old age one bit, and would do so again, but it means some discomfort for me now and probably in the future.
