moonvoice: (calm - candle lantern)
I love illustration Corvids, and while I feel like I've drawn many (because I have really drawn quite a few), the fact remains that there's so many left for me to draw.

Frankly, I don't think I ever would have gotten to this bright, curious little soul were it not for a bit of serendipity in timing re: a client's request just happening to fall into place at the right time.

Aaaaand one more line to make sure this centres properly in my layout!

moonvoice: (wczuciki - wolverine in the woods)
I pressed 'random' (like I so often do for icons) and got a wolverine first try. Noice.

This wasn't done for any particular reason except I wanted to do something with mythical flowers and I like wolverines. Sometimes those are my favourite pieces of art though. The scan does it absolutely no justice, though at least the colour matching is close. In person, the blue is dense and multi-layered and even velvety in its darkest places. The interplay of opal tones on the flowers is softer and more delicate, sweeter and gentler.

Also the moon is ridiculously iridescent because it turns out I had a white iridescent acrylic paint and I just went to town. This one is available for sale, but it will also go on my altar for a time, because it has a lovely energy.
