A lot of these were taken on maximum zoom,
through fences with small grilles, so it might not be my best work but
they're all really gorgeous birds, and are worth seeing I think.
I still find birds so captivating,
there's a part of me that will just enjoy them forever I think.
Common Bronzewing.

The aptly named Barking Owl who barked the entire time we were there.

Black-faced Cuckoo Shrike. I've been seeing these guys so often in the bush lately, so it was good to get a photo to show what they look like vs. when I'm seeing them as a speck in the distance, lol.

Brown Quails. Snuggled and allopreened until they all fought each other and ran away.

Very pretty Blue-Winged Parrot.

Common Bronzewing. I see these ones in the bush a lot.

Crested Pigeon on the move. (This one was in an enclosure, but we saw them wild in the park as well).

Lovely iridescence on the back wing as it nopes out, lol.

Diamond Dove

Last but not least, the tiny jewel-coloured Gouldian Finch. These were on maximum zoom but I couldn't not post this fellow. So gorgeous and smol.
