[Photos] 2017 - Boranup Forest II

In October,
we revisited the Boranup forest,
this time with my Mum.

Everything was so much greener,
always so much love for Boranup.


The beast with hair of green.







Cheerful Hibbertia.



Lichen.



Hovea.



Still going strong.







I tentatively think this is a Bossiaea of some kind.





An Hovea growing in the bark structure of this... I think it's a Jarrah.









I do love moss.



Green and perfectly overgrown.

Things begin to die back here in Summer a lot, so I'm enjoying the green before it all withers and catches fire.

Oh these are lovely. I particularly like the last photo, with the contrast of the pale grey trunks against the green of the forest floor. I'm so accustomed to our brush here that your forests strike me as incredibly "open" relatively.
