Photo/s of the day II
May. 7th, 2011 12:41 pmGuess who let the cats outside today? :D
We did! :D

They could hardly believe it at first. Maybe was all wary. But Moet took to it like a BOSS.

Then Maybe started to roll around.

And she rolled some more.

And then she got up to roll some more.

And then she got up and found another spot and she rolled around some more. It was easily the most relaxed I'd seen her in months and months.

Glen and I were on 'spray bottle' duty. We supervise them outside. Moet is the one most likely to jump the fence right in front of us, and unlike Maybe - who takes her time deciding - Moet will look and just do it. So we mostly had the spray bottles to keep him away from the fence he could climb. Hi Glen!

He needn't have worried about Maybe. She found somewhere else to roll.

And roll some more!

Then she slunk around. I find it amazing watching her move. It's just incredibly different to how Moet and other cats I've had walk around.

She's all pretty and stuff.

Then she wanted some grass.

Which tasted really good!

Maybe, how did you manage to surround your face with a cloud of sand?

She explored the section which is actually garden last of all.

And there she saw a Moet! And they had a Mexican stand-off.

Which he broke first by casually sauntering by her. Though in this shot, she was seriously thinking about pouncing the crap out of him.

Then she decided to eat Moet's grass, because his was nicer than hers.

Then Moet decided to roll around.

Moet likes checking all the plants. This is a woollybush which grew from seed. We never bothered maintaining it because it was an an inconvenient place (it will need to be pulled out for paving), and now it's kind of massive.

Maybe smelling a weed.

'Don't know what to think of this weed!'

My slinky girl!

And then we food lured them back inside! So all in all, they had a wonderful day.

Sort of like an aviary, but with the wire buried around the sides (so they couldn't dig under), and also with a source of shade, and possibly something fun to climb so they could look around from up high.
