I know I need to clean it but... too busy doing other things. Like sketching and worldbuilding.

Yup. It's a butterfly orchid, based on the base of a staghorn. I'm still working out the kinks, but it'll be going into the illustration.

Your sketching always astounds me. It's SO NEAT. My sketching isn't even sketching to anybody else but me. It's just a jumbled page of random shit that doesn't even look like anything.

I am in love with George the frog! The mushrooms growing from the back fascinate me! And the orchids look like butterflies to me, which makes me love them even more!

The butterfly-flowers reminds me of the oxalis species, where the leaves are shaped somewhat like butterflies' wings. =D

Your sketches are very intriguing! I'm looking forward to seeing more of this marvelous forest when/if you can share it with us. Your kitchen table also looks like my desk (except that I have computer equipment, a dog brush, a scorpion paperweight (it was a gift, I wouldn't support that industry myself) and an interesting stone thrown in there too). I try to keep it tidy, but somehow it never lasts.

For whatever reason my eye's drawn to the smoke photos. Is it me or is that an animal face in there? Looks like a bear or...maybe a Tasmanian devil? Hard to say. A little eerie, but very interesting.

Oh man. Nothing gets me itching to be creative like the site of a busy desk. I don't know what it is. It's like the sound of rustling pages, and the feeling of ink on paper. It's so stimulating.
