All of our beaches in Perth are like that. The only thing that makes Cottesloe a 'tourist beach' is the grass leading down to the sand, and the big-ass building, and the fact that several politicians have lived in Cottesloe. But you can go to *any* stretch of beach for about 5000 kilometres on the Perth coastline and you will get beaches with pearly white, powdery sand.
Yeah, there are some reasons why people love living here and call it the lucky country.
