I have been trying to figure out what the bird is for ages! We has a fair few of them around my home. They're so adorable, prancing about, wiggling their butts everywhere.

I really like the spirals on this one, and the way they flow with the background . The bird's pose also made me laugh. While we don't have them here, we have comparable species, so just from the position I can picture the little fellow strutting about, flicking his tail and being loud. :D

We have a couple around here, but we had a ton by the park at my parent's place - including one that loved to swoop me!

I've been scolded and swooped. And I used to sometimes walk with a friend and her a black/white border collie which was swooped all the time the poor thing!

Very loud! He's a fantail too, so he can spread his tail into a little fan when looking for moths in the grass and stuff.

I've had the unpleasant and novel experience of being aggressively swooped by one of these guys.

Me too. It's really the only animal I've ever drawn that has come naturally to me without many references. <3
