Mind if I ask what that toy is/where you got it? McShitty loves long furry toys (she alternates between chomping it and grooming it to death), but the last two we've had have fallen apart pretty quickly and I've thrown them away for fear of her ingesting bits.
I figure since Maybe is a chewer, this one must be a reasonably sturdy toy. 8-)

It's actually not sturdy enough that we leave it with her. She's only allowed to play with these under supervision, for about ten minutes at a time, and then they get put away. :( The only toys we leave out with her are cat Kongs which have catnip in them, but it does fade after a little while.

Can't remember the brand, but got it from City Farmers. They live in a drawer the rest of the time!

such a pretty demon! when i had to go to the apple store for a replacement page-down key after my cat BIT IT OFF AND RAN AWAY WITH IT, the guy who found one was all "aww, what kind of cat do you have?" and i said "THE DEMON KIND." (he turned out to have a maine coon.)

McShitty is generally pretty good on toys, but long snakey ones (especially snakey ones with a furry texture) get SO MUCH use that they just give out early.
I guess maybe I need to start doing the same - supervised time only for those toys. She gets her others out 24/7, so it wouldn't kill her if I put just one away when we weren't watching.

Heh. That first photo had me confused for a reason other than the horns. The toy is sufficiently similar in colouring to Maybe that I was very confused about what was happening with her tail(s). :D She certainly enjoys her playtime!

it was both of those! she had a strange fixation on that laptop. she stole that key, she typed, she tried to pet people on the screen, and she bit the side of the monitor - hard enough to leave toothmarks and, on one notable occasion, to break the tip off one of her fangs.
