This one is completely delightful. I would not have expected the colours for the short-tailed weasel to be so opulent and baroque, but really knowing the animal it makes perfect sense. They are very proud in their ferocity! And you have that piercing, assessing stare exactly right.

Short-tailed weasel asked for the most spirals of any totem I've ever worked with. Any! Hundreds of totems, and he asked for the most. I also found that the colours came through from the very beginning. Right down to the gradation of bright, sunny yellow, to green, in the section that's usually a solid black.

I quite like working with mustelids. :D Which is ironic; there aren't any that are native to Australia.

I'm very fond of them myself, as I think I've mentioned before. The very first time I tried to do a meditation to meet an animal guide, it was a weasel or ferret of some sort that came forward.

I like the glyph on Short-tailed weasel's flank. Looks like blades of grass?
