Aw, poor Maybe--and poor Pia! Did she eat something? Well, I hope she gets better quickly.

Nah, she's had a relapse / episode of her feline idiopathic cystitis (struvite crystals causing blood in the urine again), it's not good. She's on medication after a vet visit and if she's not better in 24 hours, she's got to go in to have urine samples and so on taken once more. She can't win. :/ There's a possibility of psychotropic meds on the horizon (SSRIs) for her.

I just love watching your cats outside. :) The look like they belong out there (particularly because Moet clearly blends into the sand, LOL).

As always they're both gorgeous. I particularly like the photo with Maybe in front, and Moet a little behind -- against the wood of the fence you can really see just how cryptic he would be out in the wild. (And therefore difficult for prey to spot!) :)

Heh, yeah, I'm glad Moet's an inside cat now, back when he wasn't, he did some damage (thankfully he mostly targetted feral species, but still). He's very blendy.

Poor Maybe! :( Keeping my fingers crossed for her.

I love the pictures of Maybe and her reflection; I once had a cat that loved calmly staring at herself in the mirror, and it always made me wonder what she exactly saw.

Maybe focused on her reflection and then moved on, so she wasn't too bothered once she'd checked the other cat out.

Your garden and your kitties are pretty. I hope your Maybe gets better. It's hard work taking care of a chronically sick cat.

She's a fighter, that's for sure; and she's in perfect health otherwise (even her coat is in good condition), so... it's just a matter of getting on top of this. Poor girl. Chronic illness + otherwise healthy = frustration.

So many people wouldn't be willing to put that much effort into a cat's health; seeing the care you give the both of them makes me happy. (Also--KITTIES!!!!)

Yeah, we've been told that a lot of people wouldn't put that much effort into a cat's health; even by our actual vet. I don't know how to give up. Glen and I have our line (another impaction = euthanasia), but even that will break us.
